These little mini games are perfect for travel because they are small and compact, have magnetic pieces, and the pieces can be stored in the folded board that doubles as a box!  Each mini game board is 5" x 5" when open flat, and 5" x 2.5" x .5" when folded closed.  There are 12 different games available, and each come with all the needed magnetic game pieces.

Space VentureA very simple roll-and-move game played with magnetic pawns on a small 'travel' gameboard. Players roll to move, check to see if they landed on a space with instructions and then resolve the instructions, if any.

Checkers Abstract strategy game where players move disc-shaped pieces across an 8 by 8 cross-hatched ("checker") board. Pieces only move diagonally, and only one space at a time. If a player can move one of his pieces so that it jumps over an adjacent piece of their opponent and into an empty space, that player captures the opponent's disc.

Auto Racer

Tic-Tac-Toe - Each player attempts to place three of their markers (usually an X or an O) in a line on a 3x3 grid.

Nine Mens Morris In the first stage of the game players take turns placing their pieces on the board, attempting to make a line of three. Once all the pieces have been placed, players may slide them, still attempting to make a line of three. Whenever a player makes a line of three, they remove an opponent's piece of his choice. When one player has only three pieces left, he is allowed to move any piece from any point on the board to any other point in order to more effectively block the winning opponent and to make a line of three. As soon as one player is left with only two pieces, his opponent wins.

Solitaire The standard game fills the entire board with pegs except for the central hole. The objective is, making valid moves, to empty the entire board except for a solitary peg in the central hole.

Chess and Checkers Each type of piece has a unique form of movement and capturing occurs when a piece, via its movement, occupies the square of an opposing piece. Players take turns moving one of their pieces in an attempt to capture, attack, defend, or develop their positions.

LudoEach player has a set of pawns that start in his or her corner of the board. The goal is to move the pawns around the board to the "home" section. Movement is controlled by dice. All players move around the same board, so they may capture each others pawns. Captured pawns are returned to their player's corner and must start their journey over. The winner is the first player to move all pawns "home".

Chinese CheckersPlayers jump over their own and/or their opponents' pieces with the objective of being the first to move all their pieces from one side to the opposing side.

Racing

Backgammonstrategy game dating back thousands of years. Each player has a set of 15 "men" that must be moved from their starting positions, around, and then off the board. Dice are thrown each turn, and each player must decide which of his men to move based on the outcome of the roll. Players can capture each other's men, forcing the captured men to restart their journey around the board.

Snakes and LaddersPlayers travel along the squares sometimes using ladders, which represent good acts, that allow the player to come closer to nirvana while the snakes were slides into evil.
