Alphabet Objects - Beginning Letter Sounds Set 1 - Alphabet miniatures to use with movable alphabet
This Montessori language alphabet objects lot is one of several I have available. This listing is for the beginning sounds lot #1. It can be used at home for those who home school or in a classroom. This activity includes 26 miniature objects with word cards. This set focuses on beginning sounds. Kids match the mini object to the word card with the beginning sound. You can also add a plastic alphabet set to match the objects to the letters instead of the word for beginners.
You can also use the objects for pre-readers. (examples include pulling a few random objects for pre-readers and asking if they can find x, or play I-see with the objects (I see something that starts with the letter a, or red, or an animal))
My beginning sounds series has fewer objects and sounds as my master packs, and is more suited for those studying simple sounds only. My master packs have several more sounds including special vowels, vowel patterns, diagraphs and dipthongs in addition to several of the beginning sounds.
Objects are tiny, most animals are about 2.5" long and many objects are .25". Cards are 2.5" x 1.8".
